HOW TO MAKE PURPLE DRANK IN THE UK [10 STEP GUIDE]

Step 1. Find your closest pharmacy.

Step 2. Purchase Promethazine (Sominex) and Codeine (Co-Codamol)

Step 3. I am going to use approximately 120mg Codeine to make Purple Drank.

16 Co-Codamol tablets (8mg Codeine per tablet) = 128mg

Step 4. Ingesting large quantities of Paracetamol such as contained in Co-Codamol tablets can be fatal. We must perform a cold water extraction (CWE) to safely remove all the Paracetamol leaving us with a solution of pure Codeine. Firstly crush the Co-Codamol tablets into a fine powder.

Step 5. Fill a jug or cup with approximately 100ml to 150ml of cold water.

Step 6. Add the crushed tablets to the water and stir until milky.

Step 7. Now we will filter out the Paracetamol. To make a filter use two sheets of thick kitchen roll, fold the sheets over to make a small square. Soak this square in water and then place it on top of a cup or glass so that it dips inwards. Pour the Paracetamol/Codeine solution into the filter.

Step 8. If the previous step has been performed correctly all the Paracetamol should have collected on top of the filter leaving a clear solution of Codeine in the bottom of the container. If the solution is not clear it still contains Paracetamol and needs to be filtered again.

Step 9. I am going to use a ratio of 120mg Codeine to 50mg Promethazine to make my Purple Drank.

2.5 Sominex (20mg Promethazine per tablet) = 50mg Promethazine

Crush the tablets up, then add the powder to your Codeine solution and stir.

If you plan on using more than 150mg Codeine I recommend using 30mg Codeine to 5mg Promethazine.

Step 10. Top up your Codeine/Promethazine solution with your favorite soda and sip like a G.
